Swimming----Kind Of

Makayla is best friends with her cousin, Korbin.  She loves having play dates with him, and this morning we went swimming.  By swimming I mean they played in a kiddie pool while we mommies sat and enjoyed the nice weather.  The water was freezing cold, but they managed to play without complaint for an hour and a half.  Crazy kids!  They are so cute together.  They get crazy ideas (like, "hey, let's put the rocking horse in the water!") and sometimes cause some trouble, but they are usually great together.
This is Makayla sporting her new swim suit--got it for free (oh yes, a result of my couponing addiction.  I just can't help myself!) She likes the ruffles, and I love how it shows off those cubby little legs!
This is the initial reaction to the super cold water.  It took about three seconds to get over the shock, and then they were off and running as always.
Remember the rocking horse idea?  Well, here it is in the water.  I guess it was just a lot more fun that way.
They would take a couple breaks from the water to run around the yard.  Breaking sticks to put on the table became another fun game.
Oh yes, they enjoyed that water!  Hee hee :)

Baby Boy Hubbard

So check out this handsome little fella!  I was excited when we went to the doctor yesterday and we got a good face shot of the babe.  His face is on the left, his back runs along the bottom, and yes, those are his legs on the right side crunched up to his head.  Comfortable?  I think not.

I compared his pictures to Makayla's when she was about 25 weeks, and they do not really look alike.  Maybe this baby will have some Leslee in him (Makayla only has some of my personality....not looks).  I think this baby looks a little like my brother, Steven, and his little boy Korbin.  That is such a contradicting statement though, because Korbin and Steven look nothing alike, but somehow I see both of them here.

Little Guy is measuring a kinda big, so I am a little ahead of schedule.  You can't see this, but I am doing a happy dance at the computer.  I need this boy to get here.  The pregnancy has been good overall, but my pelvic bones feel like they are shattered.  I had the same problem with my first pregnancy, but this one is killing me.  Three more months.  Three more months.  I think I can, I think I can!
