Two Kiddos On a Pole

During the summer we take the kids to the Ogden Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings.  We like having them help up pick out some healthy, fresh food to take home, and they just love the atmosphere.  One week while we were walking back to the car, the kids noticed these poles in front of this building. Needless to say, we HAD to stop to take some pictures (Makayla bossed me right around).

I'll Get You My Pretty...

I took some pictures of the kids around Carter's first birthday.  I know I am biased, but they are so beautiful.  I truly have some beautiful babies.  They make me so happy.

Uh, this girl is four years old in this picture.  Four going on SEVENTEEN!  Sheesh.  How does she look so grown up already? Sweet, little Stink Bug.

This one was not in the mood to have his picture taken, but we managed to snag a couple decent photos.  Those blue eyes just kill me.  Daxy Doo, my love!

Our sweet Beeze.  Our Beezy Breezy.  Our Beezer.  Carter Beeze.  Carter Beezy Boo.
You get the point...

Sometimes, as a mother, I could just stare at these pictures all day long and feel nothing but absolute joy.  It is such a blessing to be a mommy, and so incredibly hard.  I will cherish these sweet pictures for the rest of my life.

Summer Fun

Oh, how sweet this summer has been.  I have really been trying to enjoy every minute since Makayla will be off to Kindergarten soon. (Seriously, I don't know if I am going to keep it together when that day comes!)  This summer has been a blast.  We have had a great time playing together.

 Cole (mauling Tara) and Jarrett.

Caden and Makayla.  She says she wants to marry him someday.

Another First Birthday

Why is it that another of my wee babes is a year old?  Already?  I must admit, I hate first birthdays.  What they really mean is that my baby isn't a baby anymore, and I don't like it.

Carter is done with bottles, done with the binky, done with any form of baby food, and basically done snuggling.  He crawls all over the house, and cruises along the furniture.  He is mostly calm and happy, but when he isn't he lets me know it.  No one can make him laugh like his big sister.  He is always excited when Daddy gets home.  His very favorite place on this planet is sitting on my hip.  He is the cutest little stink on the planet, and the last year with him has been an absolute treasure.  I just love him.  A lot.  Happy birthday, sweet Carter Beez!

That face.  Oh, that face melts me.

We went to the Dinosaur Park to celebrate, and it was a hot one!  Sheesh.  I think our guests may have melted and were secretly cursing me for having summer babies.  Oopsie!

Jurassic World

Devin and I don't go to movies often.  Something about having three kids age four and under makes it difficult.  However, since Alyssa won tickets to the premiere of Jurassic World and couldn't go, we got the honors of seeing it opening night.  With drinks.  And popcorn. And I won a gift card.  Lovely!

What made it even better?  My dear friend, Whitney also won tickets.
We got to enjoy a nice double-date and it was splendid.

Watch out for those dinosaurs.

 Love this man.
