We went to the South Ogden Easter Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter, and Makayla had a blast. There are literally thousands of eggs for the kids to grab. You can see the eggs just spread out all over the grass in the picture below. It is crazy. They blow a whistle and in about one minute flat all the eggs are gone and the event is over. However, Makayla got quite a few eggs, so it was worth it.

These handsome fellas came along! That little Daxton spoils us rotten in public places. He basically just hangs out. In fact, the other day at my parent's house, we were headed outside to the backyard to do an egg hunt and it took us a minute to realize neither of us had Dax. We had left him in the house in the living room. He was just hanging out all alone. Oopsie. Parenting fail.
Here is Makayla with her friend, Tawny. She is in her ward and her mom was alone with 4 kids, so we took her to make things easier. She also got a nice loot!
I love this part of being a parent. I love the magic of the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. It brings all the fun back to holidays.
